Sherwood offers guests excellent facilities and warm hospitality.Our family run bed and breakfast is situated 2 miles south of Ayr town centre. The house is perfectly located opposite Belleisle Country Park, ideal for beautiful walks or a game of golf.The prestigious wedding venue Brig O Doon Hotel is a 2 minute journey from Sherwood. We are situated within a stones throw of Ayr Beach and are surrounded by lovely places to eat and drink which offer a variety of fresh local produce.The historical village of Alloway which is home to Robert Burns Cottage and the Burns Heritage Centre is within close proximity to Sherwood.We are fortunate within Ayrshire to have many golf courses near by. These include : Belleisle, Prestwick and Troon. A 20 minute journey along the beautiful, rugged coast will take you to the world famous golf courses and hotel in Turnberry. While there you can also visit the National Trust owned location of Culzean Castle.

Traveling from the North continue along the A77 and then take a right onto Doonholm Road. Continue along Murdoch's Lone and turn right onto B7024. Then take left on Greenfield Avenue. At the roundabout take the second exit on Doonfoot Road.
